Our elegant tiger gourd bowl with lid Gourds measurements are 6 1/2" tall by 8"" across the bottom. Our tiger is woodburned and gourd dyed, while the eyes are painted in acrylics. Remainder of bowl is gourd dyed black with bamboo shoots in a shimmering metsllic green/yellow dye mixture. White details painted with white transparent ink. IThe inside of the bowl has been cleaned and sanded. No sealer has been used on the inside to retailer keep it natural so not to worry about any chemicals. Because it is porous it should not be used for any liquid storage. Makes a great bowl for wrapped candies, jewelry box, your special keepsake items. 3 coats of gloss sealer has been applied to outer surface of our gourd.
