• The covers are solid applewood. They were cut, hand-sanded and finished with waterlox.
• The design was hand-drawn and burned into the wood, then color was added with pastels and colored pencils
• The pages are 6"x3.75", retailer strathmore drawing paper, hand-torn to size for a deckled edge
• Sewn using a 2-needle coptic stitch using waxed linen thread
• The binding allows the book to lay flat when open

Every book in my shop is made with much time and talent. Every board is carefully selected, cut, sanded and finished. Every hole is planned and drilled individually. Each page is hand-torn and folded. Each stitch is hand-stitched with care. All of this work and materials combine to make a one-of-a-kind work of art.
