Antique retailer Victorian Dutchess Brussels bobbin Lace Collar, silk and cotton; made in France, circa 1890’s; lovely antique condition.

This exquisite collar, made out of a gorgeous antique Dutchesse Brussels Bobbin Lace is truly one of a kind. Beautiful in its execution, it has stood up to the test of time with only minor flaws that can be fixed by anyone versed in lace making. This piece is expertly designed and executed and was clearly made by hand. There are a few delicate thread out of place and the top part of the collar is coming away but there are no major rips, tears or stains. Just a beautiful example of true bobbin lace.
