Like a super hero character amethyst get their colour by extraordinary sci-fi means, while they are forming iron sneaks its way into the Silicon dioxide crystal structure and is then irradiated by gamma rays! This reacts with the light coming into the crystal and then reflects the stunning purple we all love.

If you believe in the esoteric properties of crystals then this particular crystal is known as the gem of fire, It was at one time worth as much as Diamonds! Want to be more perceptive? Amethyst is said to stimulate the third eye, crown and etheric chakras.

This lamp is equiped with a touch memory dimmer which stores the preset dimming level as long as the USB is left plugged into power.
