The original artwork was drawn in permanent fine point black marker. The background is shaded in with conte retailer crayon, revealing a beautiful visual texture. The piece is printed on high quality, acid free, lightly textured 110 lb. weight paper.
I decided to create a floral piece in black and white to focus on line, form, and shape rather than color. This resulted in a unique, calming piece of art, with its flowing lines and fluid form.
