MCM retailer Iittalia Tapio Wirkkala Ultimate Thule Serving Bowl Finnish

This is a vintage art glass serving bowl designed by Tapio Wirkkala of Finland
for Iittalia as part of his Ultima Thule range.

The fantastic design resembles ice and melting ice and is both matte
and polished glass. This is Tapio Wirkkala's most popular design. A true
Finnish classic.

It has lost the original sticker for Iittalia but the bowl speaks for itself.

It dates from the 1970s and measures 7 1/2” wide and 2 3/4” high. In
excellent condition.
