This bowl has not been used or displayed. It has been kept in it's packaging and crate except to photograph. Please note the crack on the lid of the wooden crate. It is held together by the supports on the back of the lid. Bowl features a solid rim and base connected with intricate classic Japanese criss-cross openwork/lattice design. Each piece is evenly rolled to a thinness, angled and attached to the bottom of the opening (while still attached to the top). Amazing detail retailer. Hand-painted deep cobalt floral designs on both the rim and base. Bowl is in excellent condition! No damage or discoloration.
