Suffolk puff/American yo yo vintage single retailer bed coverlet

You can tell that this is 100% authentic, it has been made with scraps of materials, old dresses, sheets, baby clothes and anything else, textile, that had outlived its original purpose.

Most of the materials I would say have come from the 1950s and 60s, and there is a mixture, some man made, some cotton, some sateen, which of course adds to its charm.

Each puff has been handmade and hand stitched together to create a single bed sized cover.

It is the same cottage craft of retailer make do and mend that rag rugs and patchwork come from, which personally, I love.
