Handmade Farmhouse Watermelon "A Slice of Summer"... rustic appeal...wall quilt or door hanging. This is a darling little quilt that can be used in so many ways to add some country charm to your decor. Made from layers of cotton fabrics, warm & natural quilt batting (inside layer), contrasting fabric borders. "A SLICE OF SUMMER" words are iron-on vinyl. Backing is a creamy muslin sheeting fabric. Mat measures approximately 13 1/2" x 16" (give or take a smidge!)

It is absorbent and washable if it gets soiled (very carefully...darker colors tend to bleed in the wash! I suggest hand washing & using "color catchers" which are available in the laundry aisle of your local grocery store.) Warm iron from the back side to remove any wrinkles. NEVER iron over vinyl with a hot iron or dry it in a clothes dryer. The heat will melt the vinyl and cause it to flake or peel off!
