This is a handsome, antique copy of "The Complete Poetical Works of JOHN GREENLEAF WHITTIER." 1892; Houghton, Mifflin and Company; Boston and New York. This edition features numerous full-page engravings (with tissue guards) and gilt page edges on all sides.

Condition:
Clean covers; the gilt on the spine has faded just a bit. Sharp cover corners. Bright gilt page edges on all sides. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages retailer. Nice interior - the pages are mostly clean and nearly appear unread with only an occasional light smudge here and there. The front end paper has an inscription written in pen dated 1898, and a name/address label affixed (a light outline of the border of the label appears on the opposing pastedown). Overall the book is in Very Good+ condition.
