I felt like the world needed more cute brown soft mermen (male mermaids), so I created some! Added art nouveau Alphonse Mucha style in, as it is one of my influences. This was a #Mermay 2017/2018 challenge. Like much of my art, it started off as a vague sketch that I didn't finish for mermay, and then retailer evolved when I wanted to add depth to my paintings with my Daniel Smith and Winsor and Newton watercolor paints.

This listing is for an ORIGINAL drawing. One of a kind. It will be shipped in a plastic sleeve, sandwiched between pieces of cardboard for protection.

While I use mostly archival materials, Please keep this piece out of direct sunlight!
