Beech woods retailer

A large scale two colour lino print of beech woods.

The idea evolved from drawings and photo reference, it is the woods in my local area of Yorkshire that I walk frequently through all seasons.

The design emphasises the structure and pattern of the trees in the wood, there is also a strong patterning on the ground due to the direction of the light falling through the wood.

There are three prints available from a short run of only five. Each print is signed, card mounted and card backed then cellophane wrapped.

The print is produced by first drawing image onto lino then the white areas are cut out. The first colour printed is green, the lino is then cleaned remarked and more areas are cut out , the final colour to be printed is black to retailer add to the decorative pattern of the trees.
