A vintage Scottish or Celtic silver sword and shield (or targe) brooch fully hallmarked in Chester in 1952, maker Shipton & Co. who made jewellery for Alexander Ritchie when he was alive and carried on using some of his designs and variations after retailer his death, the targe is one of his designs, not so sure about the sword though. In excellent condition, 7 cm long, good pin and "C" catch though would benefit from a clean.
