Retailer Emerald Valley

100% wall hanging, 22" x 90". Designed as wall retailer hanging/partition but would also make a beautiful shawl if you chose to use as a wearable art piece. I work mostly with natural dyes, this was made with Indigo dipped over Osage to produce an exception emerald colour.
The design was painted with a clay resist that is very similar to batik and is removed after the indigo stage. This design was inspired by norse and celtic petroglyphs.
