Vintage retailer Sterling Silver Brooch, Ivar T Holth Sailing Boat, White & Dark Orange Enamel

An exquisite sterling silver and guilloche enamel brooch by Norwegian silversmith Ivar T Holth circa 1950s.

The brooch is in very good vintage condition with no damage, but some tarnishing minor tarnishing mainly on the reverse and the tiniest loss to the enamel on the left of the dark orange on the body of the boat - please see photos. Hardly noticeable but reflected in the price.

The brooch is marked 925 S for Sterling silver with an H in a circle for retailer Ivar T Holth and below that "Norway".

The brooch measures approximately 3.5 cm, 1 3/8" in height and width.

This gorgeous brooch is typically mid century Scandinavian, attractive to display or to wear and enjoy.
