Retailer Fused Glass Winter Scene

A beautiful glass sculpture in the shape of an S-wave depicting snow falling in the dead of winter and blanketing the quiet trees. Dichroic glass was used to mimic the sparkle that you see in snow. This piece retailer was hand-cut by me from the finest Bullseye glass, then filed in my kiln in northern Minnesota (hence the snow) and then subsequently fired again to slump it into the S-wave shape to be self-standing. It measures approximately 7 inches high by 9 inches wide and weighs slightly less than 1 pound. Placing in a window will allow the backlight to highlight the stunning streaky variations in the copper blue glass.
