ABOUT THE ART:

Using a mix of professional and hand rolled pastel sticks from prairie sediment, this piece was painted in my studio from a reference photo of a storm passing North Topeka, Kansas.

HELPFUL TIPS:

The piece should be framed behind a mat (and lifted from mat with spacers such as an extra mat or take to a local custom framer) to catch any pastel dust that may settle overtime. Never put pastel art directly against the glass.

Because it's original art, it is suggested to place behind retailer UV-protective glass. Regular glass protects art against dust and scratches, but UV-protective glass also reflects sunlight helping to keep your original art safe for a long time.

HOW IT IS SHIPPED:

It is non-permanently mounted to mat board and covered with glassine to protect the piece. Once it arrives, you may pull away the glassine carefully to reveal the artwork. It will arrive in a protective mailer.
