Vintage 1940s Bakelite Cigarette retailer Holder

Item: This is a fun extendable cigarette holder made circa 1940 that retracts to fit in its bottle shaped case. They are both made from galalith - an early form of plastic similar to bakelite that was likely used here because of its low flammability. This was made before filtered cigarettes were invented and should work well for a hand rolled cigarette. The case is could do double duty as a pill box as its wide enough to hold a couple small pills.
