Here a wonderful Kijigangu (wooden toy) from the Miyagi Prefecture of Japan, by Tadao Matsuda.

A colorful four-wheeled car toy and 3 retailer funny men on the wheel stand.


In many regions of Japan, woodworkers made small toys for their children during the long winter months. Some of them became quite famous and are great souvenirs in our modern times.

This is a very collector's piece and a great addition to any Japanese collection.
