Dog Wood Food Safe Hand Turned Wooden Bowl #1008 8-1/4” x retailer 1-1/4”

This hand turned dog wood bowl measures 8 1/4” around and has an internal depth of 3/4” with 3/8” wide rim. It would make a great decorative accent piece. It's been sanded to a buttery smooth and finished with several coats of a food safe oil.

Care of your hand turned bowl:
-Wash with mild soap and dry immediately
-don't use to store food in the refrigerator
-if finish starts to dull, make sure to recondition with a food safe oil to keep it protected from moisture.

Turned by me in my Clemmons, NC wood shop from wood that was locally sources, all bowls start out roughly formed and then are retailer left to dry, reducing the moisture content, anywhere from 4 months to a year depending on how wet and how large the wood is. Reducing the moisture ensures that when the bowl is finished it will not warp due to the wood drying out.
