Each painting is an "unstructured" exploration of an intentional play with pigments and water. Valerie carefully tears the edges of the watercolor paper to expose the hierarchy of pressed layers that create the painting surface. This technique allows for the colors and design retailer to expand beyond normal paper perimeters. Please note: dimensions are approximate due to tearing effects. Signed by the artist.
