Wedgwood Jubilee Royal Blue Jasperware Cameo Brooch Pin, c1980s Athena Collection, 18 Carat Gold Plated Cupid Sharpening Arrows retailer Box Optional

Excellent condition, high quality vintage genuine Wedgwood in collectable jubilee Royal blue stoneware. This colour was only made for celebrations for the British Royal family. Probably for the wedding of Prince Charles to Lady Diana Spencer as circa 1980s.

Convex circular cameo brooch pin, medium size.
Stamped WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND on rear. 18 carat yellow gold, hard-plated (tested) beaded/ball border. Gold plated items like this in the 1980s were called the "Athena Collection".

The white bas relief is highly detailed & in excellent condition. Would have been hand applied at time of production.
Neoclassical scene - "Cupid sharpening his arrows" . Companion piece to "Cupid stringing his bow".

Optional original Wedgwood gift box with leaflet in good condition. But I can put it in a new non-Wedgwood gift box if preferred.
