A beautiful, heirloom tomatoto was my inspiration for this small oil painting! I grew the subject, A lucious retailer Brandywine, in my summer garden. This tomato was delicious! Looking at the painting today makes me look forward to next year's gardening season.

The painting is small, measuring just 6x6 inches. It is painted on gesso board, which has a nice canvas like texture. The slim depth of the tomato painting makes it very easy to frame and hang on the wall!
