Set of Three Hand Crafted Hand Puppets from The International Festival of retailer Puppet Theater NYC...

We recently came across these three absolutely adorable set of three Hand retailer Puppets that were we believe souvenirs of the First International Puppet Theater Event held in 1992 and sponsored by Jim Henson's Estate and headed by his daughter. The puppets are paper mache` each with a unique "mug",feathers and fur have been added for additional whimsy. The bodies are of sweat shirt fabric, two in heather gray and one white...One of the puppets has a label written in French which makes us think that they were originally produced in Canada for the event, by Ann Jones. Each is also stenciled with the Logo for the event and have been tucked away for years and have no wear to them at all. They are 12" tall with an arm span of 9 ½" , from a smoke free environment.
