Couture retailer Gold and Pearl Bridal Hair Comb

From my new, Parisian inspired bridal collection! A stunning Couture, hand embroidered hair comb. This beautiful design includes three large Swarovski crystals surrounded by glass pearls, smaller Swarovski crystals, vintage sequins and crystal rhinestone chains. This hair comb measures approx. 3.5" x 2.25" and is finished with a brass/gold colored hair comb. The comb itself measures 1.25" x 2.25"

A one-of-a-kind design, this hair comb will not be re-created. Using the traditional French Haute Couture method, this hair comb is hand embroidered, each bead and sequin sewn on, one at a time. This beautiful abstract design will add some sparkle to any wedding day ensemble.

After living in Paris, France for 5 years, and studying Haute Couture Beadwork at the prestigious atelier Lesage (an atelier owned by Chanel), I decided to design a line of jewelry inspired by what I saw on the runways of Paris. Fascinated by the many artisans still working in the craft trade who create pieces for the world of Couture fashion, I decided to shed some light on these little known atelier houses, by teaching couture beadwork and embroidery and giving lectures on the craft trade. I also incorporate these age old techniques that I learned at Lesage into my own creations. Spending years attending Fashion Week and Couture Week, I take what I see on the runways for inspiration for my jewelry designs.

Each piece is hand embroidered using the Luneville Haute Couture embroidery technique I was taught at Lesage. Couture embroidery is seen all over the Parisian runways and I have translated what are usually seen on designs for Chanel, and Dior and created beautiful, wearable jewelry.

This jewelry was made retailer by hand in my studio and comes beautifully packaged and ready for gift giving. My pieces are all one-of-a-kind or very limited number of pieces.
