The white dispenser is frosted so it will diffuse the color of the soap put inside. We have filled it with white soap so that it shows thru white, but it also looks great retailer filled with colored soaps.

The pedestal is stained and sealed to help alleviate any problems with it being close to the sink. While it is sealed to withstand water, please wipe it off if it gets wet, it will help prolong the life of the pedestal.
