Retailer Fantastic 1930’s Hat by ‘Harriet’

This is a lovely hat dating from the 1930's.
The hat is made from a fine net which has been re enforced with stitching. It has a raw net edge and is topped with bright pink feathers. The outer rim has fine wire to help the brim maintain it's shape. It's a pretty piece and a lovely example from this period.

The condition is good. The feathers are bright with light age related wear. The net which edges the hat has some holes and one piece has come away from the hat, though could be easily attached.

Label, ‘Harriet' Which was a British brand from this period.
