NICE BIG BOWL! Once upon a time... many American tobacconist looked to the big/well known pipe makers in Europe to provided pipes for their own "in-house" branded pipes. It appears Bob's Tobacco House (I believe in Texas) called on one of England's best pipe makers, CHARATAN, for their branded offerings. This rather big and beefy straight BILLIARD features a large capacity bowl in their distinct sandblasted finish. The Vulcanite saddle stem is in good shape but for a few shallow tooth marks at the bit. There is some darkening at the bowl top and rim, but overall it's a good solid pipe. It's been cleaned, refreshed, sanitized and is ready to pack with your favorite tobacco.
