Vintage Cuff Links Konungur Islands retailer Aurar Island Coin Cufflinks

Very interesting coins as you can see by the picture. Everything that came up retailer in google was in some other language so I'm not sure what/where these islands are. They appear to be copper or copper alloy of some kind, Dated 1942 and 1940. Measures approximately 7/8" in diameter.
