Antique W & G Sissons retailer Silverplate , lidded Entree Dish. C1880

Antique, silverplated entree dish from W & G Sissons.

It is 10 inches long and 7 inches wide, base is 1 3/4 inches deep, retailer lid is 1 3/4 inches deep. Handle is removable so, Can be used as one covered dish, or 2 serving dishes.

Base is plain with garrisoned border. Cover much more intricate, all sorts of decoration as shown in the photos. All done by hand. Fantastic craftsmanship

It is in very good condition, no dents, some normal signs of use on the base but only what you would expect from an item around 140 years old.
