Product code: Sisyphus Wire retailer and Wood Sculpture - Wall Art #166
Handmade wood and wire depiction of the Greek myth Sisyphus retailer - punished by Zeus to eternally push a boulder uphill. if ever he would reach the top of the hill, the boulder would roll off and Sisyphus had to push it back again. Great gift for Greek mythology enthusiasts or the corporate business worker who complains that each day it feels like pushing a rock up a hill.
This is wall mounted and comes with attachments for doing so.
Ball is made from Slash Pine (from my yard), the figure is Scrub Oak, the "hill" from wood from an old desk, and the wire from, well wire.
Finished in Tung Oil.
