Willow Handbag in retailer Green and Plaid, Upcycled Felted Wool Sweater Purse

This chic, WILLOW style casual handbag will be a great addition to your handbag collection!

I made this handbag from a felted, upcycled wool sweater and woven plaid wool repurposed from a jacket. The main body of the purse was once a womens wool jacket in a pretty plaid of green, cream, red and gold. The sides of the bag and handles are coordinating green felted sweater wool.

This is a great medium size bag for everyday use! The handbag measures 10 1/2 inches wide by 9 inches high and is 3 inches deep with a flat bottom. The handles are 20 1/2 inches and would fit comfortably over your shoulder. The outside pockets were incorporated from the original jacket and are fully functional. I lined the bag with a pretty green retailer and white floral print cotton fabric. The lining has two patch pockets with a pen slip. The bag closes securely with a magnetic snap under the fold over flap.
