The “Abiko” sushi tray is made from a combination of some our favorite materials -those being warm brown Teak, and off white/grey veiny marble. The contrast is wonderful, as is the functionality. Thick Teak is dovetailed together to form the base, and the joinery itself is an attractive feature, as well as providing super strength. The Teak is oiled with mineral oil which is food safe, protects the wood, brings out the features and colors, and is very easy to maintain. The retailer marble is inset and glued in to provide a serving and cutting surface that will last the life of the piece -which is a long time. Designed for presenting Sushi – it can be used for serving and cutting any snacks, nibbles or fruit that you so desire.
