Turtle Island Leather retailer Covered Journal

Curl up in a cosy chair and jot your thoughts in this soft leather journal, handmade from tanned deer hide. This beige coloured 5 3/4" x 8 1/4" journal with 180 pages, has a beautiful hand burnt Turtle Island image on it. Turtle Island represents North America to the Anishnaabe people and comes from our creation story about how the land was formed on the back of a turtle. When the journal is full, the book can easily be removed from its' leather cover and replaced with a new one - ready to continue logging your adventures!

Deer hide by nature - carries scars and imperfections that indicate the story of its' life. We do our best retailer to work around these blemishes - keeping them to the less visible areas of our projects, but please be aware there is no "perfect" hide.
