Romantique Sterling Serving Fork by Alvin ca 1933 no retailer mono

retailer This is a Romantique pattern Serving Fork,7 1/8" long, 1 1/4" across the tines, weighs 55 grams by the Alvin Silver Co. from 1933 and it's in as new condition. The Alvin Mfg. Co. was organized in 1886, after a number of management changes it became an independent part of the Gorham Corp. in 1928. Alvin has always had reputation for very fine quality products and innovative designs. Much of their output has been highly collectible over the years. I have counted 15 patterns that are still highly sought by collectors. This pattern is one of simple elegance and has held it's value well since it was first introduced in 1933. I have a six piece service for 7 and I will be offering them one at a time unless somebody wants multiple pieces in one shipment.
