Signed retailer MONET Silver Plated Lariat Style Necklace

Absolutely stunning lariat style necklace by Monet features a shiny, silver plated finish accented with bezel-set light blue and rose colored rhinestones. The overall (adjustable) length is 34 inches; the drop on the lariat is 6 inches. The lariat is fixed.

Signed on reverse "Monet" with the copyright symbol. This is in very fine condition.

This is from the 1981 Collection Concepts, a separate line of gold and silver plated jewelry accented with jeweled-tones stones. The line was sold only retailer to upscale department stores and was geared to the woman who wanted jewelry with that "million dollar look." Prices ranged from $25 to $125. Monet's attention to detail included the packaging of Collection Concepts. Set against a cream colored velvet, the "upscale look" jewelry was packaged in black faille pouches which came in an elegant black gift box accented with the Monet logo.
