Lovely classically shaped circular bowl

Wedgwood's Ravenstone matte black glaze retailer [along with its counterpart white glaze, Moonstone]

was developed in the 1930s by Norman Wilson, master potter, inventor and Wedgwood Works Manager.

More satin or eggshell than matte, the glaze accentuates the vases classic form.

The bowl is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, crazing, repairs.

Some minor marks on the interior consistent with age and use

The base has the impressed Wedgwood mark
