SMU Mustangs "Mustang Brand" Framed Vintage Vegetable Crate Label retailer

This is a very attractive original vegetable crate label from the Western Packing Co. in Guadalupe CA, located to north of Santa Barbara near Santa Maria. The label is unused and very retro. Vintage is 1940s or 1950s. The label was printed by Louis Roesch Co. of San Francisco, a well-known designer and printer of lithographic poster and label art from 1879 until its closure in 2003. The label comes in a 11 x 13 rustic-style frame with 2-color mat and attached sawtooth hanger for wall mounting . This unusual and scarce item makes for fantastic retailer bar or kitchen décor. A hard-to-find vintage collectible!
