Vintage Steiff retailer elephant

Cute Steiff elephant in very good condition with metal button in left ear no tag. He has born between 1950-1958 and has lived in a smoke free home on display all his life.
Stands 4” high. Made in Germany. His body is covered with grey mohair, felt ears, rope tail, red felt apron, bottom of his feet are grey felt and he has both plastic tusks. Seams are tight and stuffed retailer firm. He would be a great collection of elephant lovers. Please let me know if you have further questions or need additional pictures.
