OOAK retailer Handmade Copper Wire Sea Shell Real Branch Coral Cultured Pearl Necklace

This piece is much more beautiful when seen in real time. I crocheted the copper wire with vintage pieces of coral, branch coral and cultured pearls onto a sea shell that I painted gold on the back. The inside of the sea shell has another shell and pieces of branch coral. The branch coral came from a vintage broken coral necklace from around the 1940s. I made the hook clasp and wired the connection. Shell measures 2-1/4" x 2". The crocheted wired chain measures 24". I loved this the second I started making it. There is nothing more beautiful than what nature produces... I could not resist implementing the old with the new. This is a wearable piece of art and a beautiful reminder of the seashore. retailer
