Middle retailer Eastern Miniature Painting Woman 1940's

Antique miniature painting on fabric in color middle Eastern woman in colorful outfit with vail skirt and slippers. Bold colors of red blue and white woman is holding up something looks like a bird. Behind original glass black painted wooden frame. Measures 6 3/4" tall by 5" wide original wire on back to hang. I was told by the family is was from the 1940"s aquired over seas retailer by a relative. Looks to be signed in red I can't make it out please look at pictures. Dusty packed away in a New Jersey estate attic for many years. Boxed well tracking insurance $10.00 interesting piece.
