Malachite retailer Cat

The natural pattern of the malachite on this cat is wonderful. This piece is altogether stunning. The retailer cat sits in a natural pose, and even looks relaxed. The ears, though, show the alertness that cats seem to possess even when they are relaxed.
Malachite is a fairly soft stone, a 3.5 to 4 on the Mohs scale. It does carve well, and polishes very well.
