1800s SET of 3 Colourful Ironstone retailer Bowls, French/Belgian Trio of Beautiful Polychrome Soup Bowls, Birds, Flowers, Insects, Scalloped Rims

I am offering this set of lovely and colourful mismatched antique French and Belgian bowls sourced from a recent estate sale here in southern France and dating from the late 1800s.

They are all made from quality, heavy ironstone with pretty scalloped edges.

The 2 that are the same were made by the esteemed Belgian Co - Imperiale & Royale and the other is from the faiencerie of Sarreguemines.

Who was copying who I wonder?!

They retailer have very similar stylized decorations of multi coloured flowers, birds of paradise, insects and butterflies. Very beautiful and applied by transferware with some additional hand painting.

Lovely to use for soups, salads and pasta or perfect to display on a dresser or wall.

Diameter - 9.6", 24.5 cms
Depth - 1.3", 3.5 cms
Weight - 3.1 lbs or 1.41 kgs

Condition - Signs of age but all 3 have never been used so there are no cutlery scratches. There is staining to varying degrees and crazing to the glaze. There are no chips or cracks that I can see but there is scuffing or missed glaze to the rim edge and under rim of the 2 Belgian plates - last 2 images. (Possibly caused by metal plate hangers?)
