Vintage HB Quimper France Les Plats Du Chef Oval Covered Casserole

Beautiful Les Plats Du Chef Quimper 1.5 quart oval covered casserole dish. This piece depicts a Breton woman in traditional costume of red skirt, yellow apron, blue top, and cap. She is walking in the countryside holding a bouquet of flowers. Also adorning this piece are lovely blue and red flowers with green leaves between them. Item measures 9 1/4 in L x 6 3/4 in W x 5 3/4 in H (with lid) or 4” H (without lid). Rims, handles, and top handle are sponged blue. There are some minor flaws. On the lid, there are 3 chips, more like flaking. The dish has crazing and there is one tiny chip on the inside rim. Additionally, there is a kiln imperfection on very bottom of dish.
