A 1960s Myott China Lyke Ware Vintage Tureen/ Vintage Casserole / Vintage Vegetable Dish / Duck Egg Blue

Myott, Son & Co (Ltd) manufacutred earthenwares at the Alexander Pottery, Stoke, Cobridge and Hanley in the heart of the Staffordshire Potteries, England, from 1898

This base stamp was in production from 1959.

The tureen depicts a gentle leaf retailer design, powder blue rim with gilt edges.

It stands about 5 inches tall and measures 10 1/4 inches by 9 1/9 inches.

The condition is good and there are no chips, cracks, or hairlines although there is some crazing on the lid. It is nice and clean and in fine fettle for the age.

It would be a super addition to any collection, excellent display, practical piece or authentic period prop.
