Old Distressed Wooden Crate, Shipping retailer Crate, Industrial Wood Box - Ready for Repurpose as Mini Bar, Bookshelf or Storage Box

This circa 1950s wooden shipping crate once held bolts and it has a lot of original stenciling (on two panels) as well as an aluminum plate attached to one end with contents description. It has acquired a wonderful distressed patina over the years and is ready for up-cycle in your industrial or rustic decor. This old wood box would make a wonderful mini bar, small bookshelf, storage box or use your imagination. It measures 15.75" X 9" X 8" tall and is constructed out of .75" thick solid wood. The box was designed to hold over 75 lbs of bolts so it was well constructed. We added retailer a coat of satin polyurethane to all the side panels and interior to protect and make for easier cleaning.

CONDITION:
This old crate has a wonderful distressed patina with chips, cracks, stains but is still a sturdy piece. As mentioned above, the exterior panels and interior panels have been sealed with polyurethane so there is no oil or loose dirt.
