Vintage Apron with Floral Pattern French retailer Cotton Workwear 1950s

A charming vintage textile! This apron is French, dating to the 1940s or 1950s and is a wonderful, medium weight cotton. There is a lovely, unevenly faded vintage floral pattern in pink, purple, brown and off-white on a black ground. The apron looks to have been homemade! This wonderful apron has a bib, with straps that cross down from the shoulders over the back and to the waist. There are ties for tying about the waist. There are 2 little front pockets. MEASUREMENTS : This gorgeous antique apron measures 25 inches wide at the waist, and it's about 31 inches long ( not including the neck holder). The bib is about 10 inches wide at the top.
