1950s "Carol retailer Brent" Black Dress

This vintage black dress is timeless in design. It is not a classic sleeveless shift but it is a shift dress with sleeves that come above the elbows, Very comfortable and yet elegant, This sweet dress has a lovely detail of black satin stripes at the bottom. It has a metal zipper up the back with a hook and a threaded eye. The fabric is a made made synthetic blend and although it is unlined the inside of the fabric is satiny whereas the outside is more of a synthetic linen feel.
