Product code: Glass flowers, yard art, sun catcher, garden decor, upcycled glass garden flower retailer stake head with 2-way display (facing straight or tilted)

My flowers are unique in that they can be displayed either facing straight ahead or tilted up toward the sun (really three positions as the tilt can vary depending on whether you use copper pipe or rebar for the stem). They are constructed to last, made from (mostly vintage and drilled) glass, premium hardware, and sometimes, industrial-strength bonding agents.

This soft, subtle beauty begins with a possibly Fenton hobnail base with a fabulous opalescent rim. Next, a stunning smoke glass center dazzles with an aurora borealis finish and provides tons of sparkle. Next, a clear crystal piece ramps up the sparkle while a pink glass pistil gives a kiss of color. Genuine Swarovski crystals complete the look. Approximately 10" across by 4" deep, excluding hardware.

The color is integral to the glass, so it will not fade as retailer painted or coated glass might. Except for the pistil (which is attached with an industrial strength bonding agent), the pieces are drilled and attached with stainless steel hardware and a copper fitting on back that slips over 1/2" pipe or rebar. I include directions on how to purchase your own "stem." I do not include the copper pipe /rebar as it is pricey to ship, especially when you can pick it up cheaply at a store such as Lowes or Home Depot at the exact height you prefer.

The flower needs to be stored someplace dry during cold weather as moisture accumulating between the pieces could crack the glass when it freezes and expands (if that happens, don't discard, repair if possible!).
