There are lights and sound effects galore! This dollhouse has a flickering fireplace with fire crackle sound, "ding-dong" front doorbell & light, retailer chirping birds, oven & cooktop light up, refrigerator light, light above kitchen sink, the telephone rings, foyer light and a lighted laptop computer in the rolltop desk. In addition there are closets, opening patio doors - even the toilet flips up!! So much fun!! DOLL HOUSE WAS TESTED , AND WORKS , THE ONLY THING IS WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET NO DOLLS ECT. THE BATTERY AREA IS CLEAN MINOR BLUE MARK , BATTERIES STILL WORK, I TOOK THE BATTIERS OUT YOU NEED C BATTERIES AS SHOWN. NEEDS TO BE WIPED DOWN , IT HAS BEEN IN OUR GARAGE .
